Lutterworth Athletic were narrowly beaten 1–0 away to Wednesfield Community on Tuesday 10th March 2026 in a closely contested Midland Football League Division One fixture.

Following Saturday’s match away to Ingles, Atho made several changes to the starting line-up.

Anthony Young, Josh Banton and Jay Finlay all made their Atho debuts, whilst Bradley Coleman returned to the team having last played and scored in the 2-2 draw at Sutton United at the start of the calendar year.

The match proved to be a tight affair throughout, with both teams showing defensive discipline and working hard to limit clear opportunities.

The hosts eventually found the breakthrough with the only goal of the game, leaving Atho chasing an equaliser for the remainder of the contest.

Despite pushing forward and searching for a way back into the match, Lutterworth were unable to find the finishing touch required to level the scoreline.

The result concludes a run of three consecutive away fixtures for Atho.

During that stretch, the team secured a victory against Chelmsley Town, before suffering narrow defeats to Ingles and Wednesfield.

Attention now turns back to home action as Lutterworth return to Ausden Clark Arena on Saturday 14th March, where they will face play-off hopefuls Birmingham OJM in what promises to be another competitive and exciting encounter.

With just a handful of fixtures remaining in the 2025/26 season, it will be one of the final opportunities to see the team at home, so come down and back the boys as they look to bounce back and finish the campaign strongly.
