Josh Thompson Re-Joins Lutterworth Athletic

Lutterworth Athletic FC are pleased to confirm the signing of Josh Thompson ahead of the 2026/27 season.


Like Jake Bull, Thompson featured for the Atho towards the end of last season, making three appearances and scoring once.


An experienced midfielder, Thompson is capable of operating in a multiple roles, or even filling in at centre-back when required.


Thompson is no stranger to the Ausden Clark Arena, having previously represented the club and captained the side during a spell with the Atho in 2024/25.


Having progressed through the youth ranks at Nuneaton Town, Thompson joined Rugby Borough where he linked up with Atho manager Dan Carter before later joining Long Buckby.


His experience, versatility and leadership will add further strength to the squad as preparations continue for the 2026/27 season.
