Aiden Kirby Joins Lutterworth Athletic

Lutterworth Athletic FC are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Aiden Kirby ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Kirby arrives at the Ausden Clark Arena bringing a wealth of experience both on and off the pitch, having enjoyed a playing career that has taken him from the professional academy system into senior non-league football and coaching roles across the UK and United States.

A technically gifted central midfielder, Kirby is comfortable dictating play from deep, while also possessing the ability to drive the team forward and influence games in more advanced areas.

Having spent six years in the academy system at Northampton Town, Kirby went on to establish himself in senior football with clubs including Barwell, Grantham Town and Aylestone Park, where he captained the side and enjoyed significant success, including helping the club secure the United Counties League Division One title.

More recently, Kirby spent time in the United States combining coaching and football before returning to England during the 2025/26 season, featuring for Harrowby United before rejoining Aylestone Park.

Away from playing, Kirby is a highly respected UEFA B Licensed coach with extensive experience in player development, having worked in academy football and performance programmes both in England and overseas.
