Adam Shaw Retained For 2026/27 Season
Wednesday 27th May 2026

Lutterworth Athletic FC are delighted to confirm that forward Adam Shaw has been retained ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old finished as the club’s top goalscorer with 16 goals in 20 starts, despite navigating a couple of injury setbacks throughout the year.
Shaw ended the season in excellent form too, scoring five goals in his final five matches, and will once again be a key part of Dan Carter’s squad heading into the new campaign.
Capable of operating anywhere across the front three, Shaw has consistently proven himself as a goalscorer throughout his career, with previous spells at Rugby Town as well as Rugby Borough and Long Buckby, where he also worked under Atho manager Dan Carter.
His performances during 2025/26 were recognised at the club’s First Team Presentation Night, where he collected both the Top Goalscorer and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
Welcome back, Shawrie!
