RESERVES ARE VEO SENIOR CUP FINALISTS

Lutterworth Athletic Reserves have secured their place in the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA VEO Senior Cup Final 2025/26 following a dramatic semi-final victory over Loughborough Students Development at Holywell Sports Complex.

After a competitive and hard-fought contest against the opponents who remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, the tie finished 0-0 after 90 minutes and was decided from the penalty spot.

Showing composure and character under pressure, Atho Reserves held their nerve to win 4–2 in the shootout and seal their place in the Final.

It is a fantastic achievement for the team and the club, continuing to build on the strong performances and progress shown last season.

Reaching another major final is a testament to the hard work, commitment and development within the squad.

The Final will take place at Holmes Park, where Atho Reserves will face Aylestone Park Reserves, who also progressed via a penalty shootout victory away to Coalville Town.

The showpiece occasion is scheduled for Tuesday 28th April 2026, with a 7:45pm kick-off, and promises to be a fantastic opportunity to come together and back the team as they look to get their hands on silverware.
