Lutterworth Athletic were beaten 3–1 by Leicester St Andrews in a competitive encounter that ultimately saw the hosts take control in the second half.

Atho made four changes to the starting line-up from the previous home fixture against Heather St John's.

Coming into the side were Blake Kindred, Zack Knight, Scott Smith, and Ivan Tsipan.

The hosts started brightly and took the lead early in the first half, with Greg Mills reacting quickest to a set-piece situation to give Leicester St Andrews the advantage.

Lutterworth Athletic responded well and remained competitive throughout the half, creating chances of their own.

Atho came out strongly after the interval and found a equaliser in the 49th minute when Scott Smith finished well to bring the scores level at 1–1.

However, the hosts regained control as the second half progressed.

Corey Bucalossi produced a moment of quality to restore Leicester St Andrews’ lead with a well-struck effort from distance, before Kai O’Keefe added a third goal late on to secure the result.

Despite moments of promise, Lutterworth were unable to mount a comeback, as the hosts saw out the game to take all three points.

Attention now turns to another tough away test, as Atho travel to face high-flying Gornal Athletic in their next fixture, where they will look to respond.
