PREVIEW: Ingles (H) - Lutterworth Athletic

Lutterworth Athletic vs Ingles Match Preview

Friday 28th August 2026

Lutterworth Athletic First Team welcome Ingles to Ausden Clark Arena on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm.

Atho come into the fixture on the back of an entertaining 3-2 victory over Chelmsley Town in their last outing, securing another three points in what has been a positive opening to the 2026/27 campaign.

Saturday's visitors, Ingles, have picked up one win from their opening matches so far this season, securing a victory away at GNG Oadby Town.

They have also shared the points with AFC North Kilworth and FCV Grace Dieu, while their most recent outing ended in a narrow 2-1 home defeat to Leicester St Andrews.

Lutterworth Athletic will be looking to put the previous meeting with Ingles behind them, with the sides last facing each other in March 2026.

On that occasion, Ingles secured a 2-0 victory at home, with Daniel Chapman scoring both goals for the hosts.

The reverse fixture earlier last season also proved a difficult afternoon for Atho, as Ingles ran out convincing 5-1 winners at Ausden Clark Arena.

Kyle Fowkes completed a hat-trick and Jordan Holmes added a brace for the visitors, while Bradley Coleman scored Lutterworth Athletic's consolation goal.

Atho will therefore be hoping for a different outcome when the two sides meet again on Saturday, with the recent 3-2 win over Chelmsley Town providing plenty of confidence heading into another competitive fixture.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ausden Clark Arena on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm.

A big thank you to our match sponsor, Lutterworth Football Academy, for their continued support of the Atho.
