Lutterworth Athletic First Team take a break from league action on Tuesday evening as GNG Oadby Town visit Ausden Clark Arena in the first round of the Midland Football League Cup, with a 7:45pm kick-off.

Atho head into this cup tie in excellent form after extending their unbeaten run to nine matches with a 2-0 victory over Boldmere Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

In a relatively low-key affair at Ausden Clark Arena, Elijah Kazimirow opened the scoring during the first half before Shay Young added the second after the break to for both of their first goals of the season to secure another three points for Lutterworth Athletic.

That result also means Lutterworth Athletic are now just one of two teams in Midland Football League Division One to score in every match so far this season alongside Ingles.

Tuesday night's cup tie presents another opportunity to build on that impressive form and secure a place in the next round of the competition.

GNG Oadby Town arrive at Ausden Clark Arena with renewed confidence of their own after recording back-to-back victories.

They have overcome Holwell Sports and, most recently, AFC North Kilworth in their last two outings, with Tom Vyce finding the net in both matches, the leading goalscorer so far this season for the fellow Leicestershire outfit.

Tuesday will already be the second encounter of the season between the sides, having met at Riverside Football Ground on Bank Holiday Monday at the end of August where Lutterworth Athletic came away with an impressive 3-1 victory.

Atho made the perfect start as Afonso Mvula found the net inside the opening minute, before two goals from Adam Shaw either side of Billy Tebbatt's strike for GNG sealed all three points for Atho.

With the international break continuing across the professional game, Tuesday night provides another great opportunity to get down to Ausden Clark Arena and enjoy local non-league football under the lights.
