Lutterworth Athletic First Team welcome Chelmsley Town to Ausden Clark Arena on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm.

Atho come into the fixture having clawed back a point in a dramatic 2-2 draw against Anstey Town on Tuesday evening.

Remell Miller pulled back a goal on 81 minutes before goalkeeper Jake Bull netted the equalising goal in the 93rd minute to rescue a point for Dan Carter's side.

The result means Lutterworth Athletic have now collected 10 points from their opening six matches of the league season.

Chelmsley Town have experienced a similar start to the season.

The visitors won each of their opening three league matches before suffering their first defeat against Heather St John's in their fourth game, mirroring Atho's own sequence of three wins followed by a defeat to Heather St John's.

Chelmsley then suffered another defeat in their most recent outing, losing to current league leaders Gornal Athletic, and will therefore be looking to return to winning ways when they make the trip to Lutterworth.

As seems to be becoming tradition, this fixture has once again arrived early in the season.

In both the 2024/25 and 2025/26 campaigns, Lutterworth Athletic and Chelmsley Town met on the opening day of the season.

Last season's opening-day meeting at Ausden Clark Arena ended 1-1 as Chelmsley Town took the lead through Daniel Scott-Taggett, but Atho responded quickly before half-time when Bradley Coleman found the net as the points were shared.

The reverse fixture at Pack Meadow in February 2026 saw Atho claim a 2-0 victory, with Sam Lockley and Luke Merrill both scoring inside the opening 10 minutes.
