LEAGUE CUP: Atho Reserves Reach Semi Final - Lutterworth Athletic

Lutterworth Athletic Reserves have progressed to the Semi-Finals of the Leicestershire Senior League Everards Tiger League Cup after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over FC Khalsa in the quarter-final.

The decisive moment came just before the half time break courtesy of Ollie Morfill, whose goal secured the win for the hosts.

Morfill is one of several exciting young talents to have developed through the club’s pathway, having represented Lutterworth Athletic across the Under 18s, Reserves, and recently the First Team, highlighting the strong progression opportunities available for players within the club.

The result continues an impressive season in cup competitions for the Reserves.

In addition to reaching the League Cup Semi-Finals, the side has also secured a place in the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA VEO Senior Cup Final.

That showpiece fixture will take place at Holmes Park on Tuesday 28th April 2026, where Atho will face Aylestone Park Reserves in a fantastic opportunity for the team to compete for silverware.

With strong performances across both league and cup competitions, the Reserves continue to demonstrate the strength and depth within the club’s development system.
