Lutterworth Athletic 1-2 Kirby Muxloe

Saturday 15th November 2025

A late winner from a set piece was the difference as Kirby Muxloe secured victory on a frustrating afternoon at the Ausden Clark Arena for Lutterworth Athletic.

Matthew Shipman and Connall O'Dwyer made their debuts for the Atho whilst last week's equalising goalscorer Dylan Hayes made his first start for the club, whilst former Atho player Josh Going started for the visitors.

In a cagey affair of few chances, the match went into the break goalless.

The deadlock broke with 70 minutes on the clock with an unfortunate own goal giving the visitors the lead.

However, Atho were able to respond thanks to a guided headed effort from Bradley Coleman finding the back of the net to make a 1-1 with 86 minutes on the clock and hopes of finding a winning goal.

That winning goal came, but it was the visitors who found it with a set piece of their own and Jared Rydquist found the Atho net in the 92nd minute to hand Atho a home defeat.

Next up for Lutterworth Athletic is a home tie against Wednesfield on Saturday 22nd November.
