The Atho World Cup Predictor is Lutterworth Athletic's official FIFA World Cup 2026 prediction competition.
Pick the scores of 24 carefully selected group stage matches, score the most points, and you could walk away with half of the total prize pot which grows with every single entry.
Entry is just £5, and the more people that enter, the bigger the prize.
How the prize works:
The total prize pot is made up of every £5 entry received.
The winner takes 50% of the final pot. The remaining 50% goes directly to Lutterworth Athletic.
For example, if 10 people entered, the total pot would be £50, and the competition winner would take home £25 whilst the other £25 would go to the club.
There is no fixed prize and the pot grows with every entry, so it is in everyone's interest to spread the word and get as many people involved as possible.
How to enter:
Entries are open from Monday 1st June and close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 10 June 2026.
No entries will be accepted from 11 June onwards.
Step 1 - Submit your predictions
Fill in the official predictions form using the link below.
You will need to enter your 24 score predictions, your golden goal tiebreaker guess, your full name, and a contact email address or phone number so we can reach you.

Step 2 — Pay your £5 entry fee
Once you have submitted the form, you will be contacted privately with the club bank transfer details.
You must complete your £5 payment within 48 hours of receiving those details. Your entry is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Please use the payment reference YOUR NAME – ATHO PREDICTOR so your payment can be matched to your entry quickly.
Step 3 — Receive your confirmation
Once your payment has been verified, you will receive a confirmation message.
At that point your entry is locked, your predictions are set, and you are in the competition.
Predictions cannot be changed after submission. Entry fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.

You will predict the exact score of 24 group stage matches selected from across all 12 groups of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The golden tiebreaker:
In the event that two or more players finish level on points, the tiebreaker is the golden goal guess.
At the time of entry, every participant submits a single number prediction for the total number of goals scored across ALL 72 group stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
If there is a tie on points, the player whose golden goal guess is closest to the actual total WITHOUT going over wins.
If all tied players have gone over, the player closest to the actual total wins.
Rules, terms & conditions:

Entry is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

Entry fee is £5 per person, paid by bank transfer following submission of the predictions form.

Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the bank details.

Failure to pay within this window will result in the entry being cancelled.

The entry deadline is 11:59pm on Tuesday 10 June 2026.

No entries will be accepted after this date and time under any circumstances.

No entries will be accepted once the competition is underway on 11 June 2026.

Each person may submit one entry only. Duplicate entries will be disqualified without refund.

Predictions are final once submitted and cannot be amended for any reason.

The prize will be paid to the winner by bank transfer within 7 days of the competition result being confirmed.

The winner must claim their prize within 7 days of being notified.

Failure to claim within this period may result in the prize being forfeited.

Results are based on the official full-time scores of each match as confirmed by FIFA.
-
Extra time and penalty shootouts do not apply to the group stage.

Any entrant found to have submitted fraudulent or duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Entry fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.

By entering the competition, participants agree that their name (full name or first name only, if preferred and stated at the time of entry) may be used by Lutterworth Athletic for marketing and promotional purposes, including announcing the winner across the club's social media channels and website.

The competition organisers' decision on all matters is final.
